I bought this for my son who loves this. I have looked it over (I teach piano, but heard of this from his other piano teacher) and Radnich has done a great job of making this medley from Pirates of the Caribbean that is challenging, fun and great for teens who like to do something that they infuse humour that is also flashy. Of course, at our house we have heard it more than we like by this point, but this piece is a hit every time he plays it at a recital, at piano guild, etc and its helped him build some of his piano skills at the same time.

This song is or could easily be played if you have done your 4th exam on the piano aka 4th grade. I'm in my 3rd grade this year and I have just gotten to the third page. By the way!! JARROD!!! YOUR PERFORMANCE WAS EXCELLENT!!!

If you have seen Jarrod Radnich perform his music, you know it is amazing. This is one of his more famous arrangements and it is stellar. You should not be surprised that it is extremely difficult. The average player would struggle a lot with it. The nice thing is that the chord progression is the same throughout so you can learn it quickly.

This piece had a major impact on my playing. At a young age 13-14, I made it my goal to learn this piece after hearing it on youtube. I loved it so much. I bought the sheet music and slowly learned it. To this day, 10 years later, it remains one of my favorite pieces I ever learned. I remember once I played it for a small audience on the top floor of a cruise ship, everyone clapped at the end, I was so proud. You may not know it Jarrod, but I am a pianist to this day in part because of this song. Thank you.

Thanks Jarrod Radnich. My 16 y/o son is inspired by this version and he's chosen it as his next song to learn. He's been playing since 7, first on a keyboard, then on a Steinbach Medium Grand. I bought it for my 2 sons in 2008. Best investment ever! Thanks for your passion. It shows.

I’ve been listening to this piece since I was a kid starting out piano about 7 years ago. I used to listen to it in awe every few months, and just be simply amazed by the talent. My mum and my piano teacher knew about it. My piano teacher secretly told my mum that I was ready and talented enough to play it. For Christmas, mum bought me the sheet music and I’ve honestly never been happier. To know that I can finally start to tackle this thing that I’ve been dreaming of for my entire musical life. Very proud of how far I’ve come, and very thankful for this constant inspiration. For a but more context, I just turned 18, and I’m working towards doing grade 7 ANZCA classical piano and theory exam at the end of the year sometime.
