★★★★★
Can You Hear Me? is something completely different than the other published works of Jarrod Radnich. It has a much lower difficulty, because it's not part of the virtuosic or advanced series. The focus is more on statement than performance and the piano is only accompaniment. Although it's written for piano and vocalists, it doesn't really matter—it's beautiful and heartwarming anyway. A couple—a soldier and a waiting wife at home with their child at Christmas Day—sing can you hear me to each other, because the father has to "protect the freedom and his family far away." It is both, a Christmas and a love song. It was an interesting experience to play something completely different from Jarrod.

This is one hell of a song. I just found this and I will play this on my radio show today at 8PM PST 11PM EST on LA TALK RADIO on the Jack Marino Warrior Filmmaker Show. My son is serving in the US Army and he did his time in Iraq. I know a lot of people serving and this song is for them.
